The two Scottish competitors have performed well in their first attempt at the world Championships:
- Natalie Berry finished 5th in the Junior B class final, equalling the
best performance by any British competitor.
- Robert McKenzie finished 39th in the Boys Junior B class
Natalie Berry's results through the competition:
- 8th in Qualifier 1 (she missed a small foot hold high up)
- 3rd in Qualifier 2
- 2nd in the Semi Final
- 5th in the Final

- Youth B - this year this age category was for athletes born in 1990 and 1991
- Youth A - this year this age category was for athletes born in 1988 and 1989
- Junior - this year this age category was for athletes born in 1986 and 1987
(Each year the categories all move up one year).
