The British Youth Team are on their way out to the World Youth Championships being held in Beijing, China. The World Youth competitions were held last year at Ratho. There were no Scottish competitors that year but now that Robert Mackenzie and Natalie Berry are eligible we have a good chance of seeing a Scottish climber in the finals this year.

Other British Team Members departing from Heathrow seperately are Andy Long (chaperone), Jeff and Tyler Landman, Tony Musselbrook, and Ben West.

The Team have been fund raising to help pay for their expenses and Natalie and Robert have benefited from a generous donation that has made their trip possible.
