SCOTTISH WINTER LECTURES 2008

Want to get the most out of the winter? Then you need to experience our informative and inspirational Destination Winter talks. If you're thinking about heading for the winter mountains why not gain some invaluable knowledge and information from renowned Mountaineering Instructor Stuart Johnston MIC and his team from Climbmts. Along with Stuart we are delighted to introduce two of his highly experienced mountaineering coaches; Di Gilbert MIC, Everest summiteer and Scott McDonald, Winter Mountain Leader and one of the UK's top navigation coaches.

As with any remote and rugged mountain environment their beauty belies the potential dangers and hazards when out there. All three presenters will pass on their winter knowledge; explaining how to get there and back safely and ensure maximum enjoyment when venturing out in winter. Without these essential skills its all too easy to get caught out. Stuart, Di and Scott, through their dedication and highly entertaining and informative lectures, will inspire you to gear up and get out there - in safety.

Get set for winter with preparation tips, kit recommendations and skills ideas to ensure you get the best from our wonderful winter playground.
