Visit the Association of Mountaineering Instructors website and / or the British Association of Mountain Guides website where there are lists and contact details. Instructors and Guides often travel to other areas so don't worry if you can't find one who lives nearby - it will still be possible to find one. Just ask, it's only an email………..you could send the same enquiry to a number of email addresses on the AMI page shown above. The British Mountain Guides have a system for circulating email enquiries to all available guides - send an email with the dates and type of training or service you require to guiding@bmg.org.uk For more help contact Roger Wild (MCofS Mountain Safety Adviser) roger@mountaineering-scotland.org.uk |
