Aberdeen City
Sports Stadium Consultation

Aberdeen City Council are currently holding a consultation exercise regarding the development of a big new sports centre on the Beach area of Aberdeen. They are requesting views via a website questionnaire. If you would like to see a large climbing wall as part of the development, log-on to the site and make your views known.

The consultation

Your response can be sent online, and there is an update on the voting count on the front page of the website. The consultation ends on August 31st.

For more information about the MCofS's strategy for climbing walls development see our Climbing Walls Policy document. In our strategy we wish to see a dedicated 'Regional Centre of Excellence' established in Aberdeen with minimum wall area secifications for bouldering and leading (including 'natural gear' leading wall).
