1981
Kishtwar Himalayas

Agyasol expedition

The team of six, from Oxford University Mountaineering Club, made a successful ascent of the north face of mount Agyasol.

 

1986
Kishtwar Himalayas

British Kishtwar Expedition

A large party made the first successful ascent of mount Dandagopurum.

 

1987
Cordillera Blanca.
Peru.

Glasgow University Andean Expedition

The team of four traversed the summits of Huandoy este, norte and oeste. They also established that access was not possible from the north.

 

1987
Kishtwar Himalayas

Hagshu Kishtwar Expedition

Made it to within 400 ft of the summit but were unsuccessful on mount Hagshu. Went on to successfully climb nearby mount Chiring.

 

1988.
Xinjiang, China.

Shiwakte. S.M.C. Centenary Expedition

Climbed 5 of the 7 peaks targeted, under extremely difficult circumstances.

 

1989
Bhrigupanth,
India.

Scottish Garwhal Expedition

Unsuccessful,but considered worthwhile By all who took part. 19,400 ft was reached.

 

1992
Shitidhar/Ladakhi Himachal, India.

I.I.T mountaineering club Expedition

Ascended Shithidar and reached the col just below Ladakhi peak.

 

1992
Garwhal Himal,
India.

Scottish Garwhal Expedition

An attempt on the south east ridge of Nilkanth. Although unsuccessful, this expedition shed much light on the validity of previous climbs, and made observations which will prove valuable to future ones.
