Take this Opportunity to Make Your Points!
On the Scottish Outdoor Access Code

Keeping the SOAC under review is a statutory requirement for Scottish Natural Heritage under the Land Reform [Scotland] Act 2005. SNH is now gathering information on the implementation of the Code so that they are able to judge the timing and scope of the full review. They would like to hear from a wide range of individuals and organisations including members of the public.

SNH staff will collate the information and issue summaries periodically to contributors.

Look at www.outdooraccess-scotland.com, and the trail to locate the file is Home}SOAC}Gathering information to review the Code, or directly here.

Please return the monitoring forms to Eleanor MacGregor via e-mail at recreationandaccess@snh.gov.uk

If you have encountered an access difficulty – locked gate, unfriendly signage [especially relating to deer stalking], problems walking through farmyards etc as no alternative path is evident, unreasonable behaviour, whatever, this is your chance [your duty, even!] to have this recorded and perhaps even resolved in the future.

Please respond, your view counts and could influence the Review!!
